Dear friends and would-be travelers:
As of July 3rd, residents of Connecticut, New York, and New Jersey may visit and stay in Maine without having a COVID-19 test or having to quarantine. Residents of New Hampshire and Vermont already have this ability. Residents of all other states must still take a COVID-19 test within 72 hours of entering Maine or quarantine in Maine for 2 weeks.
Many restaurants are open with indoor and outdoor seating. Most stores are open. Maine beaches and parks are open.
Most of the state fairs, festivals, summer theaters, ball games, and other events involving crowds have been canceled or postponed. Maine is still full of places to explore by car, bike, boat, and hiking.
You may book online or call to reserve, according to the aforementioned guidelines. Then if you need to cancel, please give us at least 48-hour notice. Your CC is not charged until you arrive.
We hope to see you sometime this Summer or Fall!
Warm regards and stay well,
David Marstaller, Owner of Maine Idyll
